Hello,

 

I’m Willem Purdy. A designer from London where I currently work as a Senior Product Designer on the Design Systems team at fin-tech unicorn, Wise.

 

This means I help to manage, maintain and implement improvements throughout our system used by 100+ designers across the organization. Prior to this I was part of the Product Discovery team, designing and launching web pages targeting new customers.

 

Before joining Wise, I was a Senior Designer at Companion Studio where I started as the first full-time hire working with clients to create apps, websites and digital installations. Over the 2+ years I was there, I helped to grow the team out from our base in Shoreditch and worked with clients including The DO Lectures, Limna and Vanmoof.

 

I like to consider myself a design generalist, having worked in most areas of the industry throughout my career including illustration, graphics, digital, motion, brand, UX and research. I find I work best within a team that aims to solve it’s business and customer needs through fun and interactive solutions that delight.
